Cam-Atom is the first Cambodian educational center for research and study of nuclear energy. This center is founded by Cambodian alumni and students of nuclear engineering and thermal physics with other related fields. It was established in 2022.
The government's vision of "Going Green" with clean, green energy in the future is one of the driving forces behind the establishment of this center. Another goal is to do more extensive research and education on the applications of nuclear power (energy, agriculture, medication and others).
Ensure quality of education, outreach and research in a timely manner to provide additional knowledge to students, teachers, intellectuals and public on skills and field of nuclear civilization.
Enhance development and examination of the scientific feasibility of the civilian nuclear sector in Cambodia.
